You have to get in front of people - it is a numbers game. It is common for doctors to sit back and complain as to why they haven't got more patients in their private clinic. I was certainly guilty of this when I started at my local private hospital. I now realise that you actually have to do stuff to get in front of patients to make them want to come and see you. Everyone is busy, so you have to work to get the attention of patients and prospective patients.
