Use WhatsApp - it is a great way to connect with your patients. 

I don't advise giving out your mobile phone number (although I know some consultants do), but I also don't advise that you have barriers between yourself and your patients. 

Your secretary should not be your gatekeeper, you should be available and supportive. 

That is where WhatsApp comes in....
