If you want to give a message, it is better to be clear and polarising rather than trying to wash it down and please everyone.

People like Donald Trump are widely hated, but they are also widely loved, because the people who resonate with their message can really get behind them.

If you try to water down your message, or don’t have a clear message, you will not get staunch and avid supporters, which is what we need in this day and age.
